Get ready for our 4th Annual Butterfly 5K & Kids Fun Run presented by Orangetheory Fitness of Long Island. We are excited to be coming together in person on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Heckscher State Park to honor Daniela and other children that have courageously battled childhood cancer. In addition, we plan to honor pediatric cancer survivors with medals. This lively and family fun event will have face painters and balloon twisters. You will leave encouraged and inspired to make an impact.
40,000 children undergo cancer treatment each year. The average age at diagnosis is 5 years old and one in five kids will die. It's the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15 in the U.S. Every day, approximately 250 kids around the world die from cancer, accounting for 91,250 losing their lives to the disease every year.
The Butterfly 5K benefits the Daniela Conte Foundation so that we can continue our fight against childhood cancer. It enables the Daniela Conte Foundation to financially continue supporting families with children currently in treatment, provide memorial assistance for families who have lost a child to cancer, and support pediatric cancer research.
Join us in this very important cause! Whether you're a runner or walker, we'd love to see you at the start line. Packet pick-up opens at 7:30am morning of the race!

Runner/Walker Option $30: Timed Event - Runners will be officially timed and awarded by age group. (See registration page for more information). Walkers may go at their own pace. Stollers are welcome.
Virtual Option $30: Can't make it in person? NO WORRIES! Participant from anywhere in the world - create your own 5k from wherever you are. Your packet including race shirt, medal and bib number will be shipped to you if you select this option.
Kids Ages 9-17 $15: Includes race shirt, bib number and medal. (Enter age on registration page when checking out).
Kids Fun Run $10: UNTIMED (Kids 2-8 only). Includes, race shirt, bib number and medal.
**Early bird prices available until March 17th. All prices will increase by $5.00 at midnight starting March 18th.
First 500 participants to sign up are guaranteed:
• 2024 Butterfly 5K race shirt and bib number
• One finisher medal to wear with pride
